Kathmandu. Health Foundation Nepal  (HFN)​, a non-profit organization in US and Nepal that works in partnership with local community-based organizations to provide health care services  is holding  its annual meeting on November 6-7 virtually. The theme of the meeting is “Leveraging digital technologies to deliver health care in Nepal: The future is here.”

‘The Health Foundation Nepal Annual Meeting 2020’ is a 2-day virtual mega event on Nov 6 and 7 that will be held on Zoom. The first day will focus on entertainment, while on the second day experts in the field of health and development from Nepal and the USA will present on current and future projects of HFN.

The entertainment night on November 6 will offer performances of famous artists from Nepal and the USA to the audience. Tickets are priced at  $25 for the fundraiser event and have to be purchased by November 5.  Acclaimed comedian and versatile actor Hari Bamsa Acharya is the chief guest for the entertainment night.  Tickets can be purchased from the organization’s website or Facebook page, the link for which is provided at the bottom.

On Nov 7, Sanjaya Poudel, Dr Prabhat Adhikari and Dr Arun Kunwar will present on current situation, implementation, and challenges on delivering healthcare through digital health and telemedicine in Nepal.  Dr. Mahabir Pun is the chief guest for the event on November 7.
