Dr. KC denies treatment expenses beared by government, demands for implementation of the agreement

Kathmandu. Dr. Govinda KC is currently undergoing treatment at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj for COVID-19. He has said that he will not take the treatment expenses provided by the government.
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Saturday morning tweeted that he wished for Dr. KC’s good health and speedy recovery. He had also announced that the entire cost of his treatment would be borne by the government.
However, Dr. KC has stated that he will bear the cost of his treatment at his own expenses. He issued a statement on Saturday urging the Prime Minister to treat the people in remote areas.
He also demanded the agreement to be implemented which was reached with him during his 19th fast.
