Province-1 Chief Adhikari airlifted to Kathmandu

Kathmandu. Chief Minister of Province-1 Somnath Adhikari ‘Pyasi’ was taken to Kathmandu due to health complications. Chief Pyasi, who had tested positive for COVID-19 , was in home isolation in Biratnagar.
CM Pyasi had tested positive for the virus on Nov 27, but as the oxygen level went down, he was flown to Kathmandu in a helicopter yesterday (Friday) for further treatment.
Adhikari’s press advisor Khemraj Adhikari informed National News Agency (RSS) that CM Adhikari was taken to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital at Maharajgunj in Kathmandu for medical care.
