Swiss national TT Coach Pavel Rehurek provides Rs 3.2 million assistance
Kathmandu. National table tennis coach of Switzerland Pavel Rehurek is providing a financial assistance of about Rs 3.2 milllion. Pavel is, however, offering the help to AVM school, coach Purushottam Bajracharya of AVM informed.
Coach Pavel has recently won the Schaffhauser prize for development cooperation 2020, which is awarded assessing an individual’s contribution in the field of sports and social development. He is spending the whole prize amount of 25000 Swiss Frank (around Rs 3.2 million) for the development of table tennis infrastructure at AVM School.
This is Pavel’s fourth contribution to AVM School. “Coach Pavel’s generous contributions have helped a lot in the upliftment of table tennis at AVM,” Bajracharya said. “We are spending the amount in building a state of the art table tennis hall. The designs are all ready, the work will start from next week.”
Pavel is helping not only AVM, his aid will help create talented players for the country, Bajracharya told. Pavel asserts that better facilities will help in producing better players.
