COVID-19 update: 782 new cases, 16 fatalities in last 24 hours

Kathmandu, December 18 : An additional 782 people were confirmed to be infected with the COVID-19 in Nepal on Friday. The total number of COVID-19 infected in Nepal has now reached 2,52,474.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), there are currently 9,317 active cases of COVID-19. Likewise, in the last 24 hours, 1,029 people have been recovered from the infection. So far, the total number of COVID-19 recovery cases has reached 2,41,392.
With the addition of 16 deaths in the last 24 hours, the total number of death cases has reached 1,765. Similarly, 427 people are in quarantine so far.
