Land donated for the construction of police station
Kathmandu, December 19 : Man Bahadur Tamang, a local has given one ropani of land free of cost to construct a new building for the police post Dangsing at Tarkeshwor Rural Municipality -1 Chhapada.
He had given the land for the construction of a new building of the outpost, which was set up to take charge of the security of the village municipality after the state restructuring and to prevent criminal activities through the border area connected to Dhading.
He handed over the ownership of the land to the District Land Revenue Office, Nuwakot on Friday. After handing over the land ownership certificate, he said that he was happy to give the land required for the construction of the outpost as security is greater than property. According to him, the value of the land is more than NRs 1.5 million in current transactions.
Nuwakot Police has honored Tamang along with his sons Singh Bahadur, Phul Bahadur, Bam Bahadur, and Shree Bahadur for providing land for the construction of the police post. Chief District Officer Jhangnath Dhakal and District Police Chief Karki jointly honored the land donor and requested him to maintain his support for the establishment of peace and security of the community in the coming days.
