Kathmandu, December 22 : Passengers from the European countries including the United Kingdom have been banned from coming to Nepal until further notice on Wednesday.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has instructed airlines not to bring passengers from the UK after a new strain of COVID-19 was found in the UK. The authority issued a notice on Tuesday instructing not to carry any passenger coming from the UK or via UK transit.
Nearly 50 countries have canceled flights to the UK and imposed travel bans following a new strain of the COVID-19.
