Nepal Airlines to start flights to Hong Kong from January 2021
Kathmandu, December 26. Nepal Airlines has decided to start regular flights to Hong Kong starting from this new year, i.e. January 2021.
According to Karishma Shrestha, spokesperson of the corporation, the Hong Kong airport will not impose a ban from new year after only one passenger’s report from Nepal-Hong Kong flight was found to contain faults. She also added that this time the 48-hour PCR report has been recognized by the Hong Kong authorities.
The Nepal Airlines Corporation had been facing bans time and time again after the test report of the COVID-19 of passengers was found to be faulty four times. Now, the 48-hour PCR test report of passengers has been given accepted for the Hong Kong flight, which earlier had to be a 72-hour one.
The corporation had flown a wide-body plane from Kathmandu to Hong Kong last Monday after the ban was lifted. The flight carried 259 passengers.
