Nine SSPs recommended for promotion to DIG positions in Nepal Police

Kathmandu. The Ministry of Home Affairs has recommended the names of nine Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs) for the promotion to the position of Deputy Inspector Generals (DIGs) on Monday.
Seven of the recommended SSPs are the batch mates of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Shailesh Thapa Chhetri while two others are the batch mates of Additional Inspector General (AIG) Bishwa Raj Pokhrel.
SSP Ganesh Bahadur Air, who is the batch mate of IGP Shailesh Thapa, has been recommended in the first number. SSPs Purushottam kandel, Rajesh Kumar Lal Karna, Dr Dev Bahadur Bohra, Dibesh Lohani, Umesh Ranjitkar, Prakash Adhikari and Mukunda Raj Acharya have been recommended for the promotion, as per the promotion committee.
