ANNISU (Prachanda-Nepal group) to stage protests against govt
Kathmandu, Jan 5 : Nepal Communit Party (NCP) Prachnda-Madhav Nepal group-backed student organization, ANNISU, has announced agitation programs against the government. At a press conference on Tuesday, the All Nepal National Independent Student’s Union (ANNISU) declared a programme of agitation against the government.
The program ranged from showing black flags to the ministers of the KP Sharma Oli government and burning the effigy of the Prime Minister, according to Ranjit Tamang, ANNISU’s co-coordinator.
The organization has demanded the distribution of textbooks with maps including Limpiyadhura be distributed and asking for the elimination of fees charged in the name of online classes.
According to Tamang, the agitation program was launched today after the completion of the first stage. He informed that the agitation will be held with various programs from January 5 to 13.
He announced that demonstration against the ministers of the Oli government will be done by displaying black flags and placing black banners in the campuses.
