Kathmandu, Jan 5 : Rowan Atkinson, the world-renowned comedian, has announced that he will never play Mr Bean again. The role of Mr Bean made him a global star, Rowan said, but now it is tiring for him. He will continue to voice for Mr Bean in the cartoon series. Currently, a Mr Bean cartoon film is in progress.
Rowan, 65, said : “It’s easier for me to play that role than to watch it. I don’t really like that role very much. It’s not a burden of duty. I’m starting to find this overwhelming and frustrating. Now I’m thinking of ending it.”
In 1990, Mr Bean first appeared on ITV.
