Chitwan farmers demand fair price for their produce; Urge government to limit vegetable import from India
Kathmandu, February 4. On Friday, a huge group of farmers in the Chitwan district staged a protest at the center of the Narayangarh, demanding for a fair price for their vegetable produce. During the demonstration, Five tractors loaded with vegetables (tomatoes, pumpkins, carrots, cauliflower, and cabbage) were thrown by the farmers around the Pulchowk junction.
