Government requests UAE to invest in Nepal’s tourism

Kathmandu. A courtesy call was held at Singha Durbar on Sunday between the Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Yogesh Bhattarai and ambassador of the UAE to Nepal, Saeed Hamdan Al Naqbi.

During the meeting,  Minister Bhattarai requested the UAE government and businessmen to invest in the tourism and aviation sector in Nepal.

Minister Bhattarai praised the cooperation of the UAE government for the repatriation of Nepali workers during the Covid-19 pandemic. He also requested for the continuation of collaborative efforts between both countries.

Ambassador Naqbi requested to add more flights from Kathmandu to UAE to which Minister Bhattarai informed that the decisions will be made soon.
