Tokyo. Japan has decided to open itself for people wanting to visit Japan with travel permits from this November. Travel permits will be made available to people visiting from 12 countries that include China, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea and Vietnam among others.

The government of Japan has still banned entries from 159 countries, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. People who have urgent work within the nation shall be allowed to enter Japan with a COVID test report. A period of 14-day isolation will be necessary and they will not be allowed to use public transport. The ‘sponsors’ who are sending them should ensure the implementation of the determined rules.

They initially plan to only allow 1000 visitors daily and gradually increase the number.
