Kathmandu. Kantipur Dental College Teaching Hospital and Research Center has been shut down for an indefinite period. As per the notice issued by the college on October 17, the college remains closed till further notice, except for emergency dental cases.
The college has mentioned COVID-19 and the impending festivals as the reason for the closure.
News source however claims that the main reason for closure is the high COVID-19 infection cases among the hospital staff. The source claims that more than 30 members, including the chairman and accountant, of the hospital have been infected.
