Kamal Thapa discharged after treatment in ICU

Kathmandu. Chairman of Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Kamal Thapa has been discharged after 10 days of being admitted at Om hospital.

Earlier on October 14, Thapa had announced that he had been diagnosed with COVID-19, on his official Twitter handle. Two days later, when he complained of shortness of breath, headache and fever, he was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit(ICU) of Om Hospital & Research Centre (P) Ltd. in Chabahil.

The Central Secretariat member of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Rajaram Bartaula informed that Thapa’s health condition has improved and he will stay at his residence in Pasikot, Budalinkantha.

On October 24, the former Prime Minister, Baburam Bhattarai, and his wife Hisila Yami had also tested positive for COVID-19.
