21-year-old woman ruthlessly murdered outside college in Haryana, accused caught on CCTV
Kathmandu. A 21-year-old woman was shot dead on Monday afternoon in Faridabad, Haryana. The woman has been identified as Nikita Tomar, who came out from her college after appearing for an exam.
The brutal murder was caught on CCTV camera. According to the police, two kidnappers tried to kidnap her and when she resisted, she was shot. Both the kidnappers, Tausif and Rehan have been arrested. The victim’s family claimed that this was a case of ‘love-jihad’ as they claimed that Tausif, the main accused, was infatuated with the victim.
The police have stated that the family had filed a case of kidnapping against Tausif in 2018 as well, but they stopped the police from taking any action against him, claiming that they had resolved their issues. Protests have started in Faridabad demanding justice for the victim.
The police have kept the accused in remand and have also taken the statements of the eye-witnesses.
