I see a united NCP in front of my eyes: KP Sharma Oli

Kathmandu. Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Chair and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said the entire NCP is before his eyes. Presenting a report in the NCP secretariat meeting held at the Prime Minister Residence at Baluwatar today, he said he can visualize a united NCP in front of his eyes.

“All the comrades of NCP are equal for me,” he declared, stressing on the need of further consolidating the party unity by taking it to the convenient position that the standing committee had created on September 11.

Party Chair and Prime Minister Oli also expressed the commitment to move forward protecting and enriching the communist movement by taking ‘all friends in the party’ together without allowing for deviation in the ideology, organization, conduct and ideals.

The NCP secretariat is next meeting on December 1 to discuss the proposal presented before this by party executive chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and the proposal presented by chairman Oli today.

Some leaders in the party have been calling for integrating the two proposals into one.

In his proposal, Prime Minister and party chair Oli has expressed his desire to take retirement only after handing over to the new generation a party that is united, one, vibrant, ideologically clear and with the capacity of providing leadership to the people and the country. He has also urged all the secretariat members to announce handover of the party’s responsibility to the new generation.

Pointing out that the committees formed through consensus and based on nominations for the purpose of holding the unity general convention should now be engaged in organizing the general convention/ assembly, he said,” Let us concentrate on completing the task of organizational unification which was said to be concluded in three months. Let us seek answers to questions related to the ideology, procedure, organization and leadership through the unity general convention of the party by organizing it at the earliest possible.”

Prime Minister and NCP Chairman Oli has stated that he wished to retire only after handing over an integrated, lively, ideologically clear and empowered party to the new generation to lead the country and people.

Chairman Oli, in his document, has stated to assign the party committees to organize general conventions while urging to focus on accomplishing the organizational unification of the party.

Similarly, Oli has called for addressing the issues of ideology, system, organization and leadership by organizing the general convention sooner.

Similarly, the PM has said that the entire efforts of the government in the past two and a half years are oriented to socio-economic transformation and achieving prosperity.

In his document, NCP Chairman and PM Oli has stressed for maintaining balance between the social justice and economic growth.

PM and party chairman Oli claimed that the Indo-Nepal relation was achieving a new level of economic partnership as it was travelling at the pre-blockade level in the past.   He added that the high level dignitaries exchange visit was further harmonizing the relations.  The party Chair also believed that the ownership of Nepal over disputed territory other side of the Mahakali River.

He shared that the Sino-Nepal relations was also achieving a new height via trans-Himalayan multipurpose connectivity network.

PM Oli expressed his willing to handover Prosperous Nepal to elected representatives even further strengthening the republic governance system.

He said he wanted to create such atmosphere that all could be honoured and prestigious being of communist with carrying the red flag.

The Prime Minister and party Chair said that he had no other wish except the prosperous nation and happy people. (RSS)
