Kathmandu. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and chief opposition Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba held a discussion on Friday evening at Baluwatar on the meeting of the Constitution Council (CC) called for Sunday.
NC leader Ramesh Lekhak had accompanied Deuba in the meeting while deputy leader at the parliamentary party of the ruling Nepal Communist Party Subash Chandra Nembang was with PM Oli.
PM Oli and NC President Deuba had talks on the appointment of office bearers at the Constitution Council which have remained vacant due to the failures to hold CC meetings in time. As per the constitutional provision, the opposition party leader is the member of the Constitutional Council.
