Book launch: ‘Security and Economic Challenges in the Indo-Pacific’

Kathmandu, December 22. A book titled ‘Security and Economic Challenges in the Indo-Pacific’ was launched at Hotel Shangri-la on December 21. The book was launched by Consortium of South Asian Think Tanks (COSATT) in co-operation with the Political Dialogue Asia Programme of the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS).

The book which consists of nineteen chapters has a wide range of authors from Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Germany and India. Contributions of three authors from Nepal- Dr. Shambhu Ram Simkhada, Dr. Roopak Sapakota and Mr. Ram Babu Dhakal – are included in the book.

Ms. Megha Sarmah from KAS, Singapore and Prof. Subrata Mitra from Heideleberg University spoke during the launch of the book. Dr. Nischal N. Pandey, Convener of COSATT said that he hoped the book would be useful for academics, practitioners and researchers.
