Nepal Electricity Authority throws light on recent power cuts

Kathmandu, December 31. Although it has been a long time since the end of load shedding, the issue of power outages has troubled everyone in the capital in recent days. Three years ago, during the tenure of the then Executive Director of the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), Kulman Ghising, Nepal had bid goodbye to loadshedding.

After three years, people have started to worry if loadshedding will begin again. The general public is asking why such conditions of power outage is being created in the recent days. Many individuals are criticizing the power outage in social media.

For the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), this issue has become a problem. On Thursday, the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) released a statement drawing attention to the reports that unannounced load shedding has not begun as reported in different media and that they are working on the management of the problem.
