US Ambassador Berry active in political meetings

Kathmandu, January 27. US Ambassador in Kathmandu Randy Berry has intensified political talks in Kathmandu with the new political leadership taking power in the United States. During a political meeting, Ambassador Berry met CPN (Prachanda-Madhav) Group Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal on Wednesday.

During the meeting, Ambassador Berry briefed the United States on US priorities after Joe Biden assuming power. Similarly, the recent political situation in Nepal has also been discussed.

Earlier, Ambassador Berry had also met with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and NCP (Prachanda-Madhav) Group Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal.

Ambassador Berry’s meetings with the Prime Minister and former Prime Ministers are viewed with interest. According to the US Embassy in Kathmandu, discussions were held on the political turmoil after the dissolution of the House of Representatives and the announcement of mid-term elections in Nepal and the new leadership in the United States.
