Leader Singh calls for Nepali Congress’s 14th general convention to be organized in stipulated time

Kathmandu, April 11: Nepali Congress leader Prakash Man Singh today stressed the need for Nepali Congress to organise the 14th general convention within the stipulated time.

He said it at a gathering and training session organised by Nepal Dalit Association, Kathmandu. Party leaders and cadres should be alert as efforts were underway to affect the general convention under various pretexts, Singh stressed.

In another context, the leader accused the incumbent government of failure to meet expectation and spirit of the people. Claiming that the party was always with the country and the people in need and during crisis, he maintained that Nepali Congress-led government should be formed to clear present political impasse.

On the occasion, President of the Nepali Congress, Kathmandu, Sabuj Baniya, underscored the need for ending groupism and sub-groupism within the Nepali Congress to strengthen the party. (RSS)
