Pashupati temple shut indefinitely due to covid

Kathmandu, April 23. The Pashupati Area Development Trust (PADT) has decided to close down the temple indefinitely for Hindus around the world. The PADT is said to have taken the decision due to increasing cases of covid in Kathmandu.

The temple authorities have issued an important notice revealing the the temple will be closed from Friday until further notice.

The Guhyeshwari temple and the surrounding shrines will also remained closed.

However, the daily prayers and worships will continue without any visitors.

The temple had re-opened in December 2020 after the lockdown in March 2020.
