Kathmandu, May 16. A large shipment of 18,000 oxygen cylinders has reached the Nepal China border point at Tatopani. The border authorities are processing to transport the cylinders to Kathmandu.

The cylinders are supplied for free by neighboring giant China.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, China has been supplying a large count of PCR test kits, vaccines, ventilators, oxygen concentrators, and other medical supplies.

This month, the Chinese government pledged to provide an additional grant of medical supplies equivalent to RMB 5 million (approximately NRs 92 million) to Nepal.
