Tokha receives supplies from “NIC Asia” and “Save the Children”

Kathmandu, May 18. As a part of corporate social responsibility, the NIC Asia Bank has donated three oxygen concentrators to the municipal corporation of Tokha. 

On Monday, the Chief executive officer of the bank, Roshan Kumar Neupane handed over the machines to Tokha Mayor Prakash Adhikari. The mayor forwarded the units to Tokha Chandeshwori Primary Health Centre.

Recently, the highest disbursing INGO in Nepal, Save the Children handed over health supplies worth rupees 6.5 lakhs to Tokha’s Deputy mayor Gyan Maya Dangol.

Earlier this month, the municipal corporation installed a 15-bedded isolation facility at the Primary Health Centre, that provides oxygen therapy to COVID patients. 

In Tokha, 5,695 people have contracted infection so far. At present, there are 905 active cases. 12 people have lost their lives due to the virus.
