Government seeking for new ways to conduct SEE examinations

Kathmandu, May 24. As the chances of conducting physical examinations remain extremely low, the ministry for Education, Science, and Technology is looking for new strategies to conduct the pending SEE and Higher secondary examinations.

Education minister Krishna Gopal Shrestha told RSS that the ministry has received a letter of memorandum from All Nepal National Free Students Union, a sister organization to the Communist Party of Nepal.

The 13-point memorandum submitted under the signature of union chair Ain Mahar discusses the management of the education sector during the pandemic.

The minister also shared that the government is working to introduce internet facilities in the community schools so that the stalled examinations can be resumed. Moreover, the ministry is also planning to increase the education budget for the next fiscal year.
