Bhaktapur gets essential supplies from Tibet

Kathmandu, June 13. A municipality from China’s Tibet Autonomous Region has donated medical supplies to Bhaktapur Municipality’s Khwopa Hospital.

Tibet’s Shannan Municipality, which has sisterly ties with Bhaktapur Municipality, provided health supplies worth 1 crore 9 lakh rupees, that included one ventilator, 32 oxygen concentrators, 100 oxygen cylinders, and 50 ICU beds.

Bhaktapur Mayor Sunil Prajapati informed that the shipment imported through Tatopani Check Point has been stored in the Public Health Centre at Chyamasingh.

The donations were provided in response to Bhaktapur’s request letter.

Khowpa hospital has been running a 75-bedded COVID facility that comprises 25 high dependency units.
