Kathmandu, July 24. The Ministry of Health and Population has designated additional three hospitals for certifying the COVID vaccination cards.

Before this, only the Shukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital had been certifying the vaccination cards.

The vaccination card certification has been started at Patan Hospital, the Armed Police Force Hospital Balambu, and the Civil Hospital also from today, Director of the Department of Health Services, Family Welfare Division, Dr. Taranath Pokharel, said.

He said the vaccination card verification has been started from the three more hospitals from today itself in view of the overcrowding at the Shukraraj Hospital.

With the new provision, the crowd of people queuing up at the Shukraraj Hospital to get their vaccination card certified has lessened.

The government and various countries require that those going on foreign employment and on student visas get their vaccination card certified.

Dr Pokharel said preparations have also been made for online certification of the vaccination card.
