Kathmandu, August 21. On Friday, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson stated that Britain could collaborate with the Taliban to find a solution for Afghanistan.

“Our political and diplomatic efforts to find a solution for Afghanistan, working with the Taliban, of course, if necessary, will go on,” Boris told reporters.

The Prime Minister also backed Foreign Minister Dominic Raab, who has come under criticism for neglecting to make phone calls for helping local translators fleeing Afghanistan.

So far, the British government has managed to evacuate 1,615 individuals, including 320 diplomatic officials. ‘The situation at Kabul Airport is also improving significantly,’ said Boris.
