Kathmandu, January 22. 92-year-old Indian playback singer Lata Mangeshkar is currently under treatment at the Intensive Care Unit(ICU) of Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital.
Mangeshkar’s official spokesperson Anusha Iyer told reporters on Friday that the legendary singer tested positive for COVID-19 on January 9. “She is being treated well by Dr Pratit Samdani and his team of doctors … and her condition is stable” Ayer noted.
Iyer also requested Mangeshkar’s fans to ignore the spread of rumours and appealed to people to “pray for Lata didi’s quick return home.”
