Kathmandu, May 25. North Korea fired three ballistic missiles on Wednesday. The firing of missiles was in the space of less than an hour from the Sunan area in Pyongyang, according to authorities in Seoul.
The firing came hours after Biden left South Korea on Tuesday. Biden was on a five-day Asia trip to South Korea and Japan.
During Biden’s visit, he and his South Korean counterpart Yoon Suk-yeol agreed to hold larger military drills and deploy more US strategic assets if required to dissuade North Korea’s increasing weapons tests.
Moreover, Japan confirmed that there were two launches on Wednesday, but added that there could have been more.
Japan’s Defence Minister Nobuo Kishi said the launch of those missiles could pose a threat for Japan and the international community.
