Kathmandu, August 15. US President Joe Biden on Sunday congratulated India on the occasion of 75 years of its independence. He added that India is an indispensable partner for the United States.
Further Biden said in a statement, “The United States joins the people of India to honor its democratic journey guided by Mahatma Gandhi’s enduring message of truth and non-violence.”
He said that the India- US Strategic Partnership is crucial and both countries share commitment for rule of law and promotion of human freedom and dignity.
President Biden also emphasized upon the contribution of Indian- American community to make US a more inclusive and innovative country.
