Kathmandu, October 20. Indian PM Narendra Modi launched Mission LiFE (Lifestyle For Environment) in Gujrat. The program was launched in presence of U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.

Further, Modi said people have been experiencing effects of climate change recently; adding that individuals must contribute their bit in tackling climate change.

He said further, “Mission LiFE inspires us to do all that can be done in our everyday life to protect the environment. Mission LiFE believes that the environment can be protected by making changes in our lifestyle.”

Mission LiFE follows a three-way strategy to tackle climate change. First is encouraging individuals to practice environment-friendly practices. The second way is enabling industries to respond to changing demands and third one influencing governments to support sustainable consumption.
