Kathmandu, November 3. North Korea fired quite a few missiles on Thursday, one of which trigged Japanese residents to remain indoors.

Further, the launch came a day after North Korea fired 23 missiles, the maximum in a single day.

While residents of Miyagi, Yamagata and Niigata prefectures in central Japan were warned to seek shelter, Japan’s ministry of defense revealed the missile did not fly over Japanese territory. The warning was issued by J-Alert Emergency Broadcasting System.

Moreover, Japan’s coast guard reported the missile had fallen and landed in the Pacific Ocean, 25 minutes after the launch.

Japan witnessed a missile launch from North Korea on October 4, for the first time in five years.
