Home Minister promises compensatory payment to security personnel who died during the November 20 elections

Kathmandu, December 2. Nepali Home Minister Balkrishna Khand on Thursday held a meeting with the Central Security Committee.

It was discussed how to compensate the families of security personnel who lost their lives in the course of duty during the November 20 elections.

While paying tribute to the deceased, Minister Khand announced that the families will be provided a compensatory relief.

He also expressed gratitude to everyone, the voters, election staff and security personnel for doing their part to ensure the success of the election. “We especially salute the security teams for their dedication despite limited resources,” Khand said.
