Nepali Cricketers easy win over Malaysia in ICC World Cup Asia Qualifiers

Kathmandu, February 28. Nepal has registered an easy win over Malaysia in the ICC Under-19 Men World Cup Asia Qualifiers. Nepal defeated Malaysia by ten wickets in the match held at Maleka Cricket Stadium in the United Arab Emirates.

Nepal’s Deepesh Kadel through his bowling took four wickets. Malaysia elected to bat first after winning the toss. It managed to collect 72 runs losing all its wickets in 35.3 overs.  

Nepal met the 73-run target in 9 overs without losing any wickets. Opener batsman duo of Nepal, Deepak Bohara and Arjun Kumal together scored 59 for Nepal. 

Bohara made 38 runs with the help of eight boundaries facing off 29 balls while Kumal collected 21 runs in 25 balls.
