Nepal witnesses sudden spike in gold prices; A tola of hallmark gold priced at 1,03,500 rupees

Kathmandu, March 12. Gold has witnessed a sudden rise in its price in the domestic market of Nepal.

The price of Gold has increased by Rs 1,700 per tola (equivalent to 11.66 grams of Gold), according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association.

On Friday, the hallmark gold was traded at Rs. 1,01,800 per tola, whereas, overnight it has hiked to Rs 1,03,500 today.

Similarly, the price of worked (Tejabi) gold which was traded at 1,01,300 per tola has also reached Rs 1,03,000 today.

The price of silver has increased by 25 rupees today, bringing the price of silver to stand at Rs 1,245 per tola.
