Fatal Bus-Motorcycle Collision Claims Two Lives in Kathmandu Forest

Kathmandu, Aug 23: A tragic accident occurred in the forest area of Dhungedhara in Kathmandu. A bus owned by Gorkha Daraudi Transport Company collided with a motorcycle coming from the opposite direction. Unfortunately, this collision resulted in the loss of two lives. The bus was en route from Balaju to Kalanki, while the motorcycle carried two individuals.

The victims have been identified as Anita Thapa, a 32-year-old from Sindhupalchok Sangachokgadi Municipality, and Ramkumar Bharti, also 32 years old, from Watan Nakhule. The accident inflicted serious injuries as well. Police Superintendent Kumod Dhungel, spokesperson for the police, confirmed the unfortunate incident.
