Hanjaou, Oct 2: The Nepali women’s volleyball team faced another defeat in the ongoing 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China.

In a match held on Monday under Group C, Nepal suffered a loss to South Korea in straight sets. The scores stood at 25-21, 25-14, and 25-11 in favor of South Korea.

This loss comes on the heels of Nepal’s defeat against Vietnam on Saturday, where they were beaten 3-0.

After these two losses, Nepal’s chances to advance further in the tournament have become more challenging. They are currently placed 12th in the standings.

Despite the setbacks, the Nepali women’s volleyball team remains determined to improve their performance in the upcoming matches. They will continue to compete and strive for better results.

In Group C, Vietnam leads the standings, followed by South Korea, with both teams securing their spots in the quarter-finals.

Nepal, on the other hand, faces an uphill battle as they aim to secure a higher position and advance in the tournament. Their next matches will be crucial as they seek to bounce back from their recent losses and make their mark in the 19th Asian Games.
