Direct Flight from Nepalgunj to Kailash Mansarovar Commences
Nepalgunj, Jan 29: After persistent efforts, the inaugural direct flight from Nepalgunj to Kailash Mansarovar has commenced, facilitated by the charter aircraft of Shree Airlines.
The charter plane successfully carried 38 Indian tourists who arrived in Nepalgunj from various Indian cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, among others, on their pilgrimage to Kailash Mansarovar.
Keshav Neupane, the regional director of Siddharth Business Group, expressed satisfaction with the achievement and highlighted the positive impact on tourism in Nepalgunj. Dr. Om Mishra, a tourism businessman and Managing Director of Mero Planet, also shared his joy, emphasizing that the commencement of flights marks Nepalgunj as an emerging tourist destination.
Ram Sigdel, President of Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATA), Banke Chapter, expressed optimism about the potential of the Nepalgunj-Kailash Mansarovar flight in promoting tourism in the region. He also urged for effective implementation of the Nepalgunj-Pokhara flight to further boost tourism in the area.
