Narayangadh-Muglin Road Closure Extended for Three Weeks

Bharatpur, Feb 1: The closure of the Narayangadh-Muglin road section in the afternoon has been extended for an additional three weeks due to ongoing construction work on the Tuin River bridge. The decision was made during a District Security Committee meeting held at the District Administration Office Chitwan today.

Engineer Krishna Acharya, the Information Officer of Nagadhuga-Muglin Road Project West Section, provided the information, stating that the closure is necessary to facilitate the completion of rock-breaking work for the construction of the Tuin River bridge. The District Security Committee has approved the extension of the road closure to ensure the safety and efficiency of the ongoing construction.

It is noteworthy that this closure is part of the broader effort to enhance infrastructure along the Narayangadh-Muglin road section, with the construction of 15 additional bridges aimed at improving overall road connectivity and safety. The decision reflects the commitment to completing critical infrastructure projects that contribute to the region’s development.
