Kathmandu, Feb 4: The Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) has revealed the lineup for the upcoming series against Canada and the ICC Men’s CWC League-2, showcasing a blend of seasoned players and young talents. The selection panel has given a nod to promising U-19 captain Dev Khanal, along with Hemant Dhami, Rijan Dhakal, Akash Chand, and Surya Tamang, offering them a chance to make their mark on the international stage against Canada.

In a significant return, Anil Shah finds himself back in the squad after an extended absence, bringing a wealth of experience to the team. His inclusion adds a touch of seasoned expertise to the side, complementing the youthful energy of the emerging players.

Surya Tamang and Rijan Dhakal have also earned spots in the team for the ICC Men’s CWC League-2, a testament to their impressive performances and potential on the field.

Nepal is set to face Canada in two matches on February 8 and 12, setting the stage for an exciting clash between the two cricketing nations. Following the Canada series, the focus will shift to the ICC Men’s CWC League-2, scheduled from February 15 to 24 in Kathmandu. The League-2 promises to be a triangular series, featuring teams from Namibia and Netherlands alongside Nepal, providing a competitive platform for teams to vie for supremacy.
