Kathmandu, Aug 3: Nepal has achieved a great victory over India in the ongoing Kava Women’s Nations Volleyball League in Kathmandu.
Nepal defeated India by a score of 3-2 in the match held at the National Sports Council (Rakhep) Covered Hall in Tripureshwar on Saturday. This marks the first time the Nepali women’s volleyball team has defeated India.
After this victory, Nepal has gained 2 points and India has gained 1 point. With this win, Nepal now has 5 points in 2 matches, while India has 7 points in 3 matches.
Earlier, in the opening match on Thursday, Nepal had defeated Sri Lanka in straight sets, 3-0, to start the tournament victoriously.
