India Wins Kava Women’s Volleyball Nations League Title

Kathmandu, Aug 7: India has claimed the Kava Women’s Volleyball Nations League title, defeating Nepal in the final match on Wednesday.
India won 3-2 in sets against Nepal. Nepal took the first set 25-23 but lost the second set 14-25. Nepal bounced back to win the third set 25-22.
However, Nepal lost the next two sets, finishing as the runner-up. The scores for the fourth and fifth sets were 21-25 and 5-15, respectively, in favor of India.
Iran secured third place by defeating Sri Lanka 3-0 in straight sets in the third-place match held today.
Sri Lanka finished fourth in the five-nation tournament, while the Maldives were eliminated in the league stage.
