Kathmandu, Sept 13: Rohit Kumar Poudel, captain of Nepal’s national cricket team, has been named the Best Player of the Year at the Pulsar Sports Award 2080, organized by the Nepal Sports Journalist Forum.
Rohit was selected from a group of nominees, including footballer Anant Tamang, cricketer Dipendra Singh Airee, karateka Mohammad Sheikhu Alam, and golfer Subas Tamang.
As Rohit is currently in Canada for the ICC World Cup League 2, his mother and brother accepted the award on his behalf.
