Chainpur, Oct 7: The Jai Prithvi Highway in Bajhang has been blocked due to a dry landslide near Baluwatar. Despite deploying two JCBs to clear the debris since Sunday morning, the road remains closed as continuous landslides from above hinder efforts.
Vinod Bisht, head of the District Traffic Police Office, stated that passengers have been forced to walk to their destinations due to the blockage. Clearing will resume as soon as the landslide activity ceases.
