Three Nepali Workers Killed in Saudi Arabia Road Accident
Jizan, Feb 1: Three Nepali workers lost their lives in a tragic road accident near Jizan, western Saudi Arabia.
According to Subash Yadav from the Nepali Consulate General in Jeddah, the deceased have been identified as Krishna Khatri, Rupak Karki, and Man Bahadur Rana. Another Nepali worker was injured and is currently receiving treatment at a hospital.
The families of the deceased have been informed, and arrangements are being made to repatriate their bodies in coordination with the concerned company.
The accident also claimed the lives of nine Indian workers and three Ghanaian nationals, as confirmed by the Indian Consulate in Jeddah. In total, at least 15 people died, and 11 others were injured.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, the accident occurred when a bus carrying 26 workers collided with a trailer in the southern city of Jizan while heading to their workplace.
