A New Dawn for the Earth
By the Light of Wisdom and the Fire of Hope

Happy New Year, 2082 dawns,
A time to reflect, as the new sun fawns,
On mountains high and rivers wide,
On dreams we carry, and fears we hide.
But listen close, O world awake,
The Earth is trembling, the forests shake.
The oceans rise with every tide,
As glaciers melt and species slide.
The skies once blue, now choked with haze,
The green replaced by concrete maze.
Children cough in city streets,
As plastic fills what once grew wheat.
In silent fields, the bees don’t sing,
And nature weeps at what we bring.
War-torn lands and hungry eyes,
Hope fades beneath indifferent skies.
Yet in this hour, let us not fall,
For New Year comes to rebuild all.
Let not the pain define our fate—
We still have time, though not to wait.
We must awaken as one mankind,
With justice clear and hearts aligned.
For this is not one nation’s grief,
But a planet’s cry beyond belief.
Let education light the way,
Not just facts, but truths that stay—
To teach of care, and roots, and skies,
To see the world through children’s eyes.
Not just to learn, but to transform,
To question hate, resist the norm.
To grow in mind, in soul, in deed,
And plant again a living seed.
Let scholars rise with voices bold,
Not in ivory towers cold.
But in the streets, the hills, the sand—
With knowledge born to understand.
To speak of systems, unjust and old,
To challenge greed and lies we’re told.
To write and share, to build anew,
To make what’s just, what’s kind, what’s true.
Let us unite, across all lands—
With open hearts and working hands.
From Kathmandu to the Amazon,
From Arctic winds to Asian dawn.
Let policies be people’s voice,
Let equity not be a choice.
Let wisdom guide what we invent,
With nature’s rhythm, in consent.
For every life is worth the same,
No one should bear the world’s blame.
And every step we choose to make,
Can mend the world or let it break.
So, here’s our vow, this New Year bright:
To turn the dark into the light.
To sow compassion, guard the truth,
To raise the world with love and youth.
Happy 2082, may it be
The year we choose humanity.
Not just to dream, but act with grace,
To heal the wounds, and save our place.
For Earth is home, for all, not few—
Let that be what we vow to do.
In science, spirit, heart, and hand—
Together, strong, we rise and stand.
