India’s Operation Sindoor: 10 Family Members of Jaish Chief Masood Azhar Killed in Missile Strike

Kathmandu, May 7: Ten family members of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) chief Maulana Masood Azhar were killed in an Indian missile strike during Operation Sindoor, launched in retaliation to the recent Pahalgam terror attack.

According to a statement reportedly issued on behalf of Azhar, those killed include his sister and her husband, a nephew and his wife, another nephew, and five children from his extended family. Additionally, one of his key aides, his mother, and two other close associates were confirmed dead.

The missile strike targeted the Jamia Mosque in Bahawalpur, Pakistan, believed to function as the central command hub of Jaish-e-Mohammad, according to PTI. Azhar reportedly justified the deaths of his relatives and aides in the attack.
